Saemisch + Di Bella Architects worked with the City of Mesa and Mesa Southwest Museum team members to design this 35,000 square foot building addition to house a major dinosaur exhibit. The multilevel building also includes administrative functions, changing galleries and an expanded history wing. This addition was the culmination of a master plan analysis completed by Saemisch + Di Bella Architects that evaluated the museum’s expansion needs over a 20 year timeframe as related to city growth, exhibit displays and staffing requirements.
